Woman Walks Into Humane Society, Adopts Dogs That Have Been There Longest

Can someone please lend me some Kleenex?

The Asheville Humane Society posted a video to Facebook of a woman named Leslie, who walked into the shelter and asked to take home the two dogs that had been there the longest.

Today is the kind of day that every person who works in an animal shelter dreams about!!!💜Leslie walked through our front doors and said, "Which two dogs have been here the longest, with the most special needs? I'm here to take them both home with me."

She adopted Sam, who unfortunately had a lot of medical issues and was returned after being adopted, and Brutus, a 13-year-old that has separation anxiety and was originally brought to the shelter to be euthanized.

PLEASE ADOPT, DON'T SHOP!
